Does buying an LST using SOL mean staking into the LST?

Yes, buying an LST using SOL does mean you are staking into the LST. This is because you are going from a non-yield bearing token (SOL) to a yield-bearing token (xLST). The LST that you just bought will start accruing staking yields according to its APY.

Does selling an LST for SOL mean unstaking from the LST?

Yes, selling an LST for SOL does mean you are unstaking from the LST. This is because you are going from a yield-bearing token (xLST) back to a non-yield bearing token (SOL). In fact, you are unstaking your LST instantly and can expect to receive your SOL immediately.

What does it mean to trade from one LST to another?

When you trade an LST for another (e.g. you buy yLST using xLST), you are simply unstaking from one LST and staking into the other LST. You will begin earning the staking yields of the new LST that you bought the moment you receive your new LSTs.

How are LST trades via "Trade" tab powered?

Trades done via are either route through ourselves or through jupiter, whichever gives the best price.

Jupiter actually uses Sanctum a lot for routing, so it's a two-way integration

Three possible swap routes:

  1. Pure Sanctum trade

  2. Jupiter using Sanctum Router[link]

  3. Pure Jupiter swap (i.e. via Orca, Raydium, etc.)

Where can I learn more about each LST?

You can learn more about each LST by . There, you will find detailed information about the LST's performance, key differentiators and the team behind it.

You can find a walkthrough on our LST page .

Sometimes I get a better price for a SOL -> INF using Trade than Infinity? Why?

Trade integrates Jupiter to give the best quotes to users while Infinity is purely for depositing into Infinity. You might get better prices for similar actions on the Trade page.
